Things are really taking off and taking shape for the 2nd Annual 2009 New York State Gingerbread House Competition.
- We’ve been invited to take over the Gingerbread House float in the Holiday Parade the day after Thanksgiving in Downtown Elmira! (Next stop… Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade?)
- Please welcome our newest "Friend of the Gingerbread Man": Broadway Mirror and Glass, 607 Broadway, Elmira, NY. You can contact them by email or
phone: 607-734-9820.
- We are challenging groups, organizations, businesses and our own sponsors to participate by building a gingerbread house for the event and help support Habitat for Humanity. We would love to have the girl scouts, boy scouts, academic clubs, soccer teams, baseball teams, church groups, youth groupsor any other group or organization become involved!
- It’s soooo easy even a gingerbread man can do it! Build your house at home and decorate it at the Arnot Mall!

Don't forget...
- entry cut-off is October 31, 2009, but if you enter the competition by October 17, 2009, you can take $5.00 off you entry fee!
